We do business with an insurance broker who will be using Cloud Services. Normally, our insurance policy documents must be signed in ink to be legally binding, but this broker wants to be able to submit electronic documents to our office for processing. The broker has indicated that part of their Cloud Services is the exchange of documents with legally-binding digital signatures. As the 3rd party, we want to be sure that the legally-binding digital signature still applies once we've received the document in our office.
I appreciate any insight or advice that can be given.
